Group projects are the worst

Rant: In my final year project group, I am doing 100% of the coding. One guy is 'researching' (googling) and the other is making the PowerPoint.

I'm basically building a full-stack ML application by myself. Has anyone successfully dealt with freeloaders without ruining friendships?

Have you tried looking into the official docs? They recently updated that section and it's much clearer now.
